The Problem

Our Mission
BuildersList exists to give contractors the same advantage that customers have had for years. Homeowners can check reviews on Yelp and Google before hiring a contractor, but contractors have had no way to check on customers. We're changing that. BuildersList is a contractor-to-contractor review platform where tradespeople share honest experiences so everyone can make informed decisions about the jobs they take.
Who We Are
BuildersList was founded by people who have seen the problem firsthand. We've watched skilled tradespeople get burned by customers who had a pattern of non-payment, only to find out later that three other contractors in town had the exact same experience. That information should have been shared. Now it can be.
How It Works
Contractors sign up, search for customers by name and address, and read reviews left by other tradespeople. After completing a job, they leave their own review to help the next contractor. It's simple, fast, and costs less than a single hour of wasted labor at just $9.99 per month.
